Pharmacy Connect Program Release

Organisers for the inaugural Pharmacy Connect conference are delighted to announce that the full event program is now available online at www.pharmacyconnect.com.au

Conference Convenor Kos Sclavos said that the program offers a mix of both business and clinical topics, as well as workshops on the Sunday, with the opportunity for delegates to gain a deeper understanding of new avenues to improve their business’s productivity and bottom line.

“The program has a strong focus on business growth, profitability and management topics. In particular these sessions have been designed to provide practical advice and ‘real world’ examples in the area of professional services.

“In addition, a unique feature of the Pharmacy Connect program, are the ‘Master Class’ sessions where delegates will have access to business mentoring on topics such as pharmacy viability, business strategy, pharmacy marketing and patient engagement.

“We wanted to create a program where delegates not only leave the conference feeling motivated to make changes in their pharmacy, but also have the practical knowledge to do so,” Mr Sclavos said.

Pharmacy Connect will feature over 30 speakers including an international guest, a trade exhibition with 60+ exhibitors, Welcome Reception and Gala Dinner. The Guild’s National Student Business Plan Competition will also be conducted at the event and the winners announced at the Gala Dinner.

“From a delegate’s perspective, Pharmacy Connect will provide a fantastic opportunity to network with peers, industry leaders and suppliers – while learning new opportunities to strengthen their pharmacies.

“As the industry is changing so rapidly, this conference also provides the perfect platform for industry representatives to communicate key products and services in the second half of the year,” Mr Sclavos said.

Pharmacy Connect is hosted by The Pharmacy Guild of Australia, New South Wales Branch and will be held in Sydney on 9-11 September at the newly refurbished Four Points by Sheraton Sydney, Darling Harbour.
