Pharmacy Connect Gala Dinner – September 10

Plus, join in the excitement as the winner of the National Student Business Plan Competition is announced, and dance the night away to live band, the High Rollers.

Conference Convenor Kos Sclavos said that the Gala Dinner is set to be a memorable night at the inaugural conference.

“We know the key to a successful conference is to balance the concentrated educational sessi
ons with relaxed and high quality social events, and the gala dinner will do just that.

“Set at Australia’s newest waterfront venue, the Gala Dinner will provide a sit down networking event, including exceptional food, drinks and entertainment.

“The dinner is the perfect opportunity for guests to enjoy themselves, spend time with industry colleagues and make new connections,” Kos said.

Kos added that an exciting feature of Pharmacy Connect is the finals of the National Student Business Plan Competition, the winners of which will be announced at the Gala Dinner.

“Throughout the conference, each team of pharmacy students will have five minutes to ‘pitch’ a business plan. Entries are judged on a number of criteria including viability, research, business management, innovation, financials and marketing.

“This is a fantastic competition to encourage innovative pharmacy students and the future of our industry. I’m really looking forward to see what they come up with!,” Kos said.
