The Industry’s First Topical Gel Base Developed Specifically for Use in Veterinary Compounding

At PCCA, we invest in the foundations of your practice.
We know as well as anyone that bases are the foundation of many compounded medications, and having access to the highest quality bases ensures that your patients get the treatment they deserve.
That’s why we’re committed to providing a wide range of exclusive, high-performing vehicles, allowing our members to help patients solve any problem that arises.
We have animals covered, too.
PCCA ZoSil is the compounding industry’s first topical gel base developed specifically for use in veterinary compounding. From dogs to donkeys, cats to kangaroos, horses to hamsters, this exclusive silicone hydrogel base is designed to topically deliver active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) to animal skin. Specifically, it is ideal as a base in formulations for dermatitis and wound care.
ZoSil is rich in fatty acids such as omega 3, omega 6 and conjugated linoleic acid, making it the ideal compounding base for adding APIs for any dermalogic formulations and wound care.
Examples of common APIs used topically for various skin conditions are antibiotics, antifungals, anti-inflammatories, anaesthetics, antiseptics and mast-cell stabilizers. Furthermore, ZoSil’s proprietary Smart Diffusion Technology™ possesses a unique fatty-acid releasing mechanism to provide moisturisation and help improve the appearance of red, flaky and irritated skin.
