Guild Podcast Ep. 10: 2018 Pharmacy Assistant of the Year with Alice Vanderpol

The Pharmacy Guild of Australia held a competition at the 2018 Guild Pharmacy Assistants Conference for the next PBCN podcast topic.
The winning topic was ‘Pharmacy Assistants are a vital part of every pharmacy team – hear from the 2018 pharmacy assistant of the year’.
The Pharmacy Assistant of the Year Award is the premier award for Australian pharmacy assistants, recognising and celebrating the ‘best of the best’ in community pharmacy.
Each year, the Guild searches Australia-wide to find the most skilled and knowledgeable pharmacy assistants to share their experiences and passion for the industry.
This prestigious award recognises the important contribution pharmacy assistants make to the pharmacy industry and is a chance to celebrate their passion & commitment.
The 2018 winner was Alice Vanderpol from Moama Village Pharmacy in NSW. Alice talks of her career, her experience of the award and where she sees the future of pharmacy workforce.
We also hear form Alice’s employer, Clint Flanigan, who explains how pharmacy assistants are an integral part of the pharmacy business.
