Guild ITP enrolments close this month!

The Pharmacy Guild of Australia is encouraging all intern pharmacists to enrol in the Guild Intern Training Program (ITP) by 17 January, for the chance to WIN a 2017 Australian Medicines Handbook resource package valued at $345.

Pharmacy Guild of Australia National Intern Training Program Manager, Tim Roberts said that this early bird registration competition was just one of the many benefits of the Guild ITP.

“Successfully delivered since 2011, the Guild ITP is at the forefront of community pharmacy – delivering industry specific, relevant content and hands-on experience that will prepare interns for a range of roles.

“The program is specifically structured to ensure maximum on-the-job training, giving interns the time to focus on the practical aspects of community pharmacy – rather than theoretical training alone. Interns also benefit from exam practice modules, ‘mock’ exams, and dedicated oral exam preparation workshops.

“Plus, all Guild Interns receive FREE registration to the Australian Pharmacy Professional Conference* on the Gold Coast and Pharmacy Connect Conference^ in Sydney, providing networking opportunities, educational sessions and much, much more,” Mr Roberts said.

The Guild Intern Training Program is available nationwide with workshops in all states and territories of Australia. Additionally, interns will have access to supportive pharmacist tutors, who are available to provide guidance and advice as they progress through their intern year.
