Dementia Australia’s Adelaide Memory Walk & Jog takes place tomorrow!


What:            Dementia Australia’s Adelaide Memory Walk & Jog When:           Sunday 2 April 8am 

Who:             More than a thousand locals participating on the day. People who have been impacted by dementia, their family, friends and carers.

Dementia is the second leading cause of death of Australians and provisional data is showing that dementia will soon likely be the leading cause of death of Australians. Dementia is the leading cause of death for women.


Dementia Australia’s Chief Executive Officer, Maree McCabe AM is available for interview, as are participants Sarah and Carl, who are walking to support their Dad, Garry who lives with dementia. They had a great time at their first Memory Walk & Jog last year with their team, Dad’s Army and were Adelaide’s top fundraisers, raising more than $17,000.
