GuildLink and myDNA Partner to Deliver Genetic Testing in Pharmacy

GuildLink has announced a pioneering partnership with myDNA, Australia’s leading genetics interpretation company, to expand genetic testing services in the community pharmacy sector.

More than 10,000 myDNA tests have already been ordered by Australian GPs and specialists. This service has now been extended to be offered in pharmacy in an innovative collaboration between the patient’s pharmacist and medical practitioner.

GuildLink’s GuildCare platform enables myDNA accredited pharmacies to manage all professional services with one seamless software. GuildCare also identifies more Clinical Interventions than any dispense or other software systems.

Allan Sheffield, Managing Director of myDNA Life, the company behind the myDNA test, said advances in genome mapping technology make the health benefits of a personalised approach to medication, nutrition and exercise more accessible to patients and consumers.
