Priceline Pharmacy partners with GuildLink for new health app

Priceline Pharmacy has partnered with GuildLink to provide customers access to a free mobile app to make it easier manage their own medication and health services.

The Priceline Pharmacy app will allow customers to safely manage their medication, including taking the correct dose at the right time and refill scripts before they run out. Patients who have just visited their GP will be able to securely order new medication ready for their local Priceline Pharmacy to dispense.

Priceline Pharmacy General Manager Tamalin Morton said the new app is just one of the ways Priceline Pharmacy is working to make life easier for its customers.

“We know our customers are busy and anything we can do to make taking care of their health easier is something we look to invest in. The app will be linked to a customer’s regular Priceline Pharmacy store for convenience and to strengthen the relationship between patients and their local Priceline pharmacist.”

“This initiative is part of our long-term focus to support better health outcomes for all Australians. This technology will improve medication compliance and also give more patients access to vital health checks and programs, screening and pre-testing tools, vaccinations and other in-pharmacy health services.”

Ms Morton said they chose to work with GuildLink because they value the importance of the pharmacy–patient relationship and can provide digital and professional services across the entire Priceline Pharmacy network.

“We know strict data control and an uncompromising approach to privacy is a key issue for Australian consumers. In choosing GuildLink as our preferred vendor, we’re putting patients first and providing them with a secure and trusted solution for future healthcare integration,” she said.

In welcoming the opportunity to work with Priceline Pharmacy, GuildLink Acting CEO, Jannine Johnson said she was particularly excited by Priceline Pharmacy’s long-term commitment to support patients throughout their health journey.

“We’re constantly innovating to make it easier for pharmacies to offer consumers vital services in their local communities. Priceline Pharmacies using our technology will find it easier to record and report on all pharmacy services including immunisation and adverse events, and providing connectivity to My Health Record,” she said.

“Our technology makes it easier for pharmacies, but ultimately, we know that Priceline Pharmacy customers who use this new app will be the real beneficiaries. And that’s our key driver.”

The Priceline Pharmacy app is set to launch later this year.
