2025 action plan for community pharmacy to be presented at Pharmacy Connect
An action plan for the future of community pharmacy in 2025 will be presented at Pharmacy Connect in September, enabling community pharmacies to prepare for the likely direction of the industry.
Community Pharmacy 2025 (CP2025), a major strategic planning research project by The Pharmacy Guild of Australia, will be the topic of a key plenary session on Saturday, 8 September.
Pharmacy Connect Convenor Kos Sclavos said the session will lay down an action plan with a realistic vision and roadmap to allow pharmacies to take the steps necessary towards the identified pathways for the future of community pharmacy.
“This session will bring delegates up to speed on the likely direction of the sector and what it means for anyone in the industry from pharmacy owners, to pharmacists and industry representatives,” Mr Sclavos said.
The action plan has been developed from insights and data gathered at the Australian Pharmacy Professional Conference and Trade Exhibition (APP) earlier this year in May.
The Community Pharmacy in 2025 session will be held on Saturday, 8 September from 4.15pm to 5.30pm. For a full program and to register for Pharmacy Connect, visit pharmacyconnect.com.au.
Pharmacy Connect will be held on 7–8 September at Hilton Sydney. The event has been designed to meet the need for an industry conference that allows pharmacists, business owners and the wider sector to stay abreast of changing regulations and new business opportunities.
