6CPA MedsCheck follow-up claims now available in GuildCare NG

Pharmacies wanting an easier solution for 6CPA MedsCheck and Diabetes MedsCheck FollowUp services can now submit claims with GuildCare NG Professional Services platform.

MedsCheck and Diabetes MedsChecks remain a vital community pharmacy service, with over 95,750 already delivered to Australians in 2018.

It’s now easier for GuildCare NG pharmacies to report on eligible MedsCheck and Diabetes MedsCheck pharmacy patients. Reminders are created in the calendar after the initial MedsCheck and the Patients Medicines Profile smart-report can be uploaded directly to 6CPA.

GuildCare has worked with over 3,300 pharmacies to make it easier for patients to access MedsCheck services, and over 668,770 MedsChecks have been successfully recorded since this vital Community Pharmacy initiative began in 2013.

“Pharmacies have been asking for improvements that make it easier to claim and provide 6CPA services, and this is just another way GuildCare is helping to streamline the process” said Jannine Johnson, GuildLink acting CEO.

“We’re continually working with healthcare partners and research institutions to ensure that community pharmacies are finding more ways to help local patients”.

Other recent health initiatives offered through the GuildCare NG platform include key new Pharmacy Trial Programs including Chronic Pain MedsCheck Trial and HealthCare Homes.

“We’re proud that GuildCare allows patients to access other vital community pharmacy initiatives such as IMeRSe, Asthma & Rhinitis Control Study, Routine Opioid Outcome Monitoring and Diabetes Screening Trial programs” said Johnson.

“We’re constantly looking for more ways we can add value to community pharmacy, and help them support better health outcomes into the future.”

GuildLink will be working closely with Pharmacy Programs Administrator to ensure 6CPA claiming is made easy for community pharmacy into the future.
